Cecelia (CJ) Muscarella has been dancing since the young age of three years old. Her love of dance was fueled by her mother Anne Muscarella who is also a teacher at Body Language Dance and Theatre Arts Studio throughout her entire life.
Graduating from Body Language’s Dance Company in 2007, she went on to Towson University where she received a BFA degree in Dance Performance and a K-12 certification in Dance Education. She was happy to return to Body Language’s wonderful staff and students to continue pursuing and sharing her love of dance. Ballet, as the foundation for dance, has always been the main influencer in CJ’s choreography and teaching. She has been inspired by the great choreographers old and new: George Balanchine, Justin Peck and Bob Fosse. She is excited to continue bringing a combination of classical ballet with a contemporary style to the students of Body Language who never fail to bring her visions to life.
Outside of the studio, CJ works as an Administrative Assistant for the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends and many cousins. She has always been a big football fan and has recently developed a love of travelling.
